Boil down all the herbs except Fr. Polygoni Multiflori Shu Hong Huang Zi into a paste, adding the Moschus She Xiang only near the end of decoction. Spread this paste onto cloth sized to match the mass and apply it as a plaster over the area. At the same time, grind the Fr. Polygoni Multiflori Shu Hong Huang Zi to a powder, steep it in 1 kg of warmed wine, and sip it repeatedly until the mass resolves.
