- Use is contraindicated in those experiencing severe weakness or labored breathing.
- Requires modification for those with a constitutional Deficiency of Spleen Yang.
- Use is contraindicated in cases of dehydration.
- Caution is needed for those with Spleen and Stomach Deficiency, given the Stagnating nature of Shu Di Huang.
- Use is contraindicated in cases of Blood or Qi collapse.
- Caution is advised during pregnancy.
