Nakłucie

  1. 01Insert straight, 0.5–1 cun; produces a heavy, distended local sensation.
  2. 02Angle the needle toward the genitals, 1–2 cun, giving local distention and soreness that can spread to the genital area. Caution: the spermatic cord in men and the round ligament in women lie beneath the surface here, so deep insertion carries risk.
  3. 03Needle perpendicularly, 0.5–1 cun.
  4. 04Moxibustion may be used.
  5. 05Insert perpendicularly, 1–1.5 cun. Caution: in thin patients, angling deeply upward risks entering the peritoneal cavity or a distended bladder; angling deeply downward in a male risks the spermatic cord.
